Tagtool: An iPad Animation Instrument

In Journal on January 3, 2013 at 9:22 pm
from Lynn Kearny:

Here is a whole new level of live visual performance- music, create-as-you-go animated graphics, and all!  Sent along by Tim Thomson, creator of LoopyCam, the Space Palette, and other innovations.

Tagtool had always been something unique; its creators described it as “a performative visual instrument used on stage and on the street … a VJ tool, a creative video game, or an intuitive way of creating animation.”

I  am thinking of all of you, my brothers in arms.

Only you, the other survivors of this shipwreck no me as I am… washed up on the bbeach after the storm, looking for life again.

Be gentle to yourselves, my brothers.
Be brave.
Be you.
Continue to be the creators of you own lives.

– Pete

PS. My mantra for 2013 is:

"Man the f_ _k up!"

What's yours?

In Journal on December 17, 2012 at 4:48 pm
Sprachmuster

Check out the new visualization app ROCKETPICS created by Manuala Bernard, founder of Sprachmuster in Germany

For graphic facilitators to re-draw the images on paper—and presenters who want to bring their presentations to life—this iPhone version allows you to:

  • Look up icons and visualizations with keywords in English or German
  • Enter a word in the search field, and you will be provided with visuals that might fit your needs.
  • Browse the categories (e.g. characters & emotions) and be inspired
  • Export the images to dropbox or other apps
  • Send images to your e-mail inbox

For an easy handling and smooth integration in Powerpoint presentations and other documents the pictures come as transparent pngs.

(Now available for iPhones via iTunes. More complex iPad version coming soon!)

Visualisierung – Ziele & Nutzen. In Präsentationen, Vorträgen, Workshops, Trainings, Kundengesprächen, World Cafés, Moderationen u.v.m.
